New Technologies:

Airodyne Collapsible fairings are designed to alleviate the logistical challenge larger fleets face in timely delivery of new tractors. Whether ordering our Roof Deflector only, I-1 Collapsible, or our I-1F Collapsible, designed for Cab Extenders, both models are easily decked by securing the Upper Fairing via four bolts during transport.

  • Class A finish eliminates the need to paint for white fleets.
• Optional Backlit Logo Lights offered in custom sizes: LED now available.

Design Profile:

In 1976, Airodyne pioneered the truck aerodynamic market by engineering the first three-dimensional roof fairing. We still remain true to our founding and have been in the truck aerodynamic business longer than any of our competitors!

Airodyne was recently awarded our latest patent for our Fairing Design on the 8600 Extended Cab (I-1E model). We are currently working with International Truck & Engine on designing the 2008 ProStar Low Roof fairing.

Our initial design focus for our one-piece fairings has always been top fuel savings engineered for the "real world." When Airodyne initially looked at designing a Collapsible Air Deflector, our foremost challenge was engineering a two-piece fairing without compromising the aerodynamics. We are delighted both models follow almost identical lines of our standard one-piece I-1 and I-1F models and meet our "real world" applications for durability and ease of install.
